“Good performance management is about people. It’s about obtaining ownership and commitment to the task, project or service. It’s about providing clarity and purpose – and it’s about recognition.
But it’s about information too. The cost of data is lower than ever before and customers have unparalleled opportunities to provide feedback on services, factors that will transform performance management and decision-making.
I am a strong supporter of the Public Sector Performance Management Forum. It provides the means to engage senior practitioners and share good practices, and it has the potential to use the combined expertise of the Forum to bring about a step change in public sector performance management.”
Lord Bichard

Welcome to thePublic Sector Performance Management Forum
Aims
The overall aims of the Forum are to create a network of expertise in Public Sector Performance Management and to support the sharing of ideas, experience and good practice.
Why has the Forum been formed?
Over the coming months and years all public sector bodies will be under sustained pressure to deliver more without a corresponding increase in resources, bridging the gap through efficiency improvements and introducing new ways of working. In this environment, effective performance management is vital.
